Welcome! Since you're new to Sabrina's Crossing, here's a quick rundown of what you can expect here.

In summary, my blog is a collection of my thoughts, experiences, readings, and things I find interesting and believe are worth sharing.

So what exactly does that entail?

As an athlete (I just completed my 10th, and final, season of professional basketball in Europe), you will find your fair share of sports talk. Whether it'd be about my past seasons, soccer, or the Super Bowl, I'm game for anything.

Also in the past few years my interest in training, health, nutrition, and fitness has piqued. You can expect some posts on my work outs, and maybe some new things I'm trying out!

Possibly the biggest, and most-recent, change in me has come in my concern, and displeasure, with the US Food System. So I will be communicating different articles and findings in regard to the US Food Supply.

As a Portlander, I have a great sense of pride in the area, and the things that come from the Rose City. You will see my enthusiasm for the beautiful scenery, Nike, food carts, etc from my hometown quite often.

And lastly, as an American who lived in Europe for 10 years, you will see my perspective as I travelled the world while playing basketball!

I've been blogging since September 2011, and I cannot believe the satisfaction I've found in writing. Blogging keeps me engaged. No matter where I am, I always find myself looking for potential topics. I love that feeling. Of being invested in the moment, and finding new experiences, or points of view to share.

I also occasionally write as the 'international perspective' for SLAM Magazine Online, so make sure to check those posts out as well!

I hope you find what I have to write interesting and informative. I appreciate any and all feedback, so I'd love to hear your thoughts! Thanks again for visiting!
